Saturday, July 8, its Military Appreciation Night and kids’ bike races, to be presented by Chicago Iron & Supplies of Ashland. Free general grandstand admission will be offered to all active and retired members of the Armed Forces showing their military IDs, and the youngsters will get to race their bikes on the same red-clay oval that their heroes race on.
The grandstand gates and pits will open at 5 pm on July 8, with hot laps starting at 6:30 and the first green flag of the night set to fly at 7 pm.
