The ABC Raceway will pay tribute to area farmers and agricultural workers on Thursday night, July 2, with its fifth annual Farm Stock Special, presented by White River Ag Products. The USRA Late Models will make their second visit of the season here, joining the track’s Top Groove Racewear WISSOTA Modifieds, Bulldog Auto Repair WISSOTA Super Stocks, Dalbeck Sales WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and Berglund Customs ABC Six-Cylinders, with increased purses for all five classes.
Fans are encouraged show their patriotism in honor of America’s 250th birthday celebration by wearing red, white and blue apparel at the grandstand gate; those that do will receive a free bottle of water courtesy of CG Bretting Manufacturing. Also, fans are welcome to stay after the races for a cookout, again complements of Bretting Manufacturing.
The pit gates will open Thursday at 4 pm, and the grandstand gates will open at 5. Hot laps will start at 6:15, and the first heat race is set to start at 7 pm. There will be no racing here on Saturday, July 4, but action will resume on Saturday, July 11, with its annual kids’ bike race night, presented by Bulldog Auto Repair.
